Naast Arctic Monkeys nog meer nieuws voor Hurricane & Southside
Deze ochtend mochten Hurricane & Southside een nieuwe headliner toevoegen op de affiche: Arctic Monkeys. Maar daar blijft het niet bij, want ook James Bay, Chvrches, Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather, MØ, Thrice en The Vaccines zullen aanwezig zijn in Duitsland.
Andere nieuwelingen zijn Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Johnossi, MHD, Jungle, Talco, Chefket, Stick To Your Guns, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Neck Deep, Romano, Haiyti, Touche Amore en Kolari.
Eerder was al bekend dat Arcade Fire, Billy Talent en The Prodigy het festival zouden headlinen. Ook Justice, Biffy Clyro, The Offspring, Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks, London Grammar en nog veel meer namen zullen twee weken voor Rock Werchter afzakken naar beide Duitse festivals.
Hurricane Festival 2018 vindt plaats in het Noord-Duitse Scheessel. Southside Festival 2018 vindt dan weer plaats in het Zuid-Duitse Neuhaussen ob Eck. Beide data zijn van 22 tot en met 24 juni 2017. Tickets zijn beschikbaar via de website aan €179.
