Groezrock keert terug met Back To Reality 2024

De organisatie van Groezrock is na jaren van stilte terug. De vriendengroep wil rustig en vooral terug met veel plezier organiseren en komt op de proppen met Back To Reality 2024. Een kleinschalig indoorfestival aan het einde van de zomer met op de affiche talent van eigen bodem met Cornflames, Captain Kaiser, Arson, Moments, Big Fat Toddlers en Spitshakes.

And just like that… we’re back! Well, kinda. Let us explain.
After a 5-year hiatus, the group of friends behind Groezrock and Riorock have decided to start something new. Nooo, please don’t go expecting a 2-day festival with 500 bands over 23 stages. We’ve settled for something fun and definitely not too big.

Well, what is it then?
We call it “Back To Reality”. And it’s a club show with 6 of the finest bands Belgium has to offer. New talent next to established powerhouses. #emo and #hardcorepunk, #punk and #metalcore. It’s all there. Just like at good old Groezrock and Riorock.

Wait… But what really happened to Groezrock?
In just a couple of years, Groezrock grew from a small festival into something bigger than we had ever expected. To be honest, it got a little too big. It simply wasn’t fun anymore and felt more like a second day job. And who needs another one of those?

What will this ‘Back to Reality’-thing lead to?
Who knows! Your guess is as good as ours. Maybe it will turn into a new festival. Maybe not. We’ll see what the future holds. But for now, we are ready to start things up again and just have a good time.

Back To Reality 2024 vindt plaats in Buurthuis Genendijk te Ham op zaterdag 21 september. Tickets voor Back To Reality 2024 zijn beschikbaar via de website van Groezrock aan amper 16,5 euro. Wie Groezrock te veel mist kan het nog een beetje herbeleven via deze pagina.

Groezrock was een jaarlijks punk, hardcore en metalcore festival dat sinds 1992 werd georganiseerd in het laatste weekend van april of het eerste weekend van mei. Het festival vond steeds plaats in Meerhout-Gestel en was de traditionele opener van het Belgische festivalseizoen.
